A Little Encouragement Goes A Long Way ...

Hey loves,

Again apologies and silly excuses for not writing. The real world is a rough place and sometimes it can get inside the creative places in an author's brain and dry everything up. And it gets me thinking about writing, and encouragement, and the power of the words we say to other people. And the words they say to us.

Say 'you is kind.' Come on, say it.
It seems like such a silly, cliche thing to think about. But how many times in your life have you wanted something, hoped for something, only to give up on it because someone said something that made you feel ridiculous? Like you were wishing on a star. Or worse, how many times have you said something to someone else and seen the crushing look of disappointment on their face?

This is getting preachy, and don't worry, I'll get off my soapbox soon. But a little assignment from me: Wish upon that star. Hope for something you think is impossible. Keep reaching for that dream, and don't let anyone convince you otherwise.

Maybe these are just words that will get lose out in the expanse of endless interspace, but it's a post I need just as much. Children believe in dreams, until the world convinces them otherwise.

But maybe it's time to start believing in dreams again?
